Choose the right water ski
Combo skis are the easiest route for first-time skiers and families. Wide-body slalom skis add surface area for easier deep-water starts at lower boat speeds. Tournament shapes suit experienced skiers who want faster edge changes and course performance.
As a starting point, skiers up to 68 kg generally use 158-165 cm, 68-90 kg use 165-171 cm, and skiers above 90 kg benefit from a 170 cm+ wide-body shape. Use the full metric water ski size guide before ordering.
