Warranty & Your Statutory Rights
Your legal guarantee (this always applies)
If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771. In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights that can apply for up to 6 years. These statutory rights are free, apply regardless of any commercial warranty, and cannot be reduced or excluded. If a product does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as provided by law. To exercise these rights, contact eu-support@connellyskis.com.
Connelly commercial warranty (additional to your statutory rights)
In addition to - and without limiting - your legal guarantee above, Connelly provides the following manufacturer warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship:
- 1 year from date of purchase: skis, wakeboards, boots and bindings, compression-moulded and Thermo Shell wake surfboards, SUPs and iSUPs, kneeboards, ropes and handles, vests, tubes, bags and gloves.
- 90 days from date of purchase: wood products, leisure items (floats, dipped vinyl, water mats) and pumps.
- Not covered by the commercial warranty: epoxy hand-finished wake surfboards and apparel.
What the commercial warranty does not cover
These exclusions apply to the commercial warranty only and do not affect your statutory rights:
- Damage caused by sliders, rails or kickers.
- The cost of return shipments to Connelly.
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, nicks, fading, tearing of finger holes, pull straps or laces), and abrasion of materials.
- Damage from modification, or use of equipment not sold with the product (e.g. bolt-on fin/binding systems, cutting or reshaping boards).
- Damage incurred while another manufacturer's bindings or fins were in use.
- Damage from misuse or accidents (dock slides, dock or beach starts, striking a solid object, tow-rope handle impact).
- Discolouration from sunlight or excessive heat, improper storage, and over/under-inflation.
- Products used in commercial, rental, demo or instructional programmes.
How to make a claim
